  3. Select Get License
  4. Choose Life and Health

  9. Complete Student Account & Contact Information sections

TIME TO APPLY FOR YOUR LICENSE

Allow up-to 24 hours for your information to be updated in the system before you apply for your license.


  1. Visit NIPR (National Insurance Producer Registry)
  2. Click on Individual
  3. Select Social Security Number
  4. Fill out Personal Information
  5. Click Start
  6. Click Producer Licensing
  7. Click Initial, then Resident
  8. Select your Resident State, then Next
  9. Select Life AND Accident & Health or Sickness (select only life if you didn't complete the Health Exam)
  10. Click Next, fill out all required information
  11. Answer Employment & Background Information
  12. Click Next, then Pay Fee

Once your application gets processed, allow up to 3 weeks for an approval.

Complete Fingerprints 👆

Fingerprinting procedures and requirements differ by state, pay attention to your resident state's specific requirements & follow the exact instructions for electronic fingerprinting.

REQUIRED COURSES

Complete the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) course and the required annuity training. If you’re taking the annuity course for the first time, you’ll need to complete the initial 8-hour training. If you’ve taken it before, a 4-hour ongoing course is required. The AML course is mandatory and helps identify money laundering activities. Please note that each state has different requirements and fees.

  1. Create an account at Success CE 
  2. Choose BUY COURSES:
  3. Select State & License Category (Life/Health/Annuity (Reg BI)/Ethics/LTC/AML)
  4. Follow this link for specific courses by state
  5. Check the box for Unlimited Success (get access to all courses for the entire year)
  6. Coupon Code: EASYCE ($19.95/year)
  7. Upon completion, sign and check the box for YES on each certificate

Do I need to create separate SureLC Accounts?

Yes, you need a separate account for Quantum and Universal Wealth. You can use the same email, but you'll need a different password for each. All data from your previous SureLC accounts will be imported.

Quantum & UW appointments are JIT (Just-In Time) so you will need to contact contracting@universalwealth.com to activate carriers when you’re ready to write business.

STEP 1 | CREATE ACCOUNT

  1. Click Apply Now
  2. Click Register New Account & complete personal info
  3. When completing setup, use the following information:
  • Doing Business As - Select “Licensed Only Agent”
  1. CE & Training > Add New accounts > Link your CE provider account

STEP 2 | GET E&O COVERAGE

This is only required if you don't already have E&O or need to renew your E&O Coverage

  1. Login to Quantum Contracting Portal
  2. Click E&O Insurance on the left side > Signup with CalSurance
  3. Select 2nd option (Fixed Indexed Annuities and Life, Health & Accident)
  4. Complete application
  5. Annual Revenue = $100,000 - $1,000,000
  6. Upon approval, the policy will be automatically uploaded to SureLC

STEP 3 | Request Carrier Contracts

  1. Click Requests
  2. Complete ONLY the following appointments & add Product-Specific Training certificates to applicable appointments
  3. Nationwide - Annexus
  • Fixed Life AND Fixed Annuity
  • Broker Dealer Appointment - “Independently through your BGA
  • Who is your Annexus IDC Marketer Name = Marc Lindsey
  • Athene Annuity & Life Company
  • ANICO Annuity (Fixed Annuity ONLY)
  • Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company
  • Global Atlantic
  • North American (ANNEXUS)
  • Security Benefit

STEP 1 | CREATE ACCOUNT

  1. Click Apply Now
  2. Enter your information as prompted, the rest of your profile information should automatically be pulled from your Quantum SureLC profile, so no further setup will be required. You will need to select a different password for each SureLC account.

STEP 2 | REQUEST CARRIER CONTRACTS

  1. Login to UW Contracting Portal
  2. Click Requests
  3. Do NOT apply for all carriers. Apply for only F&G first; you can apply for others when you have business to write. Similar to Quantum, all appointments except F&G Life are just in time, this means your appointment will not be sent to the carrier until you have business to write.
  4. When you have business to write email contracting@universalwealth.com and your request will be submitted to the carrier for processing.

  2. Include your legal name & preferred email address
  3. You will receive an email with the application within 1 business day with the subject: Thank you for your interest in contracting with National Life Group!
  4. Check your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox
  5. Complete application; make sure to complete the application in one sitting, do not start the app unless you have time to complete it fully as this will ensure a smooth appointment process
  • Approval can take up to 10+ business days due to background check
  • Non-resident appointment fees may apply (deducted from earned commissions)

Let ETHOR be your guide when you're trying to find the right words. What's ETHOR? It stands for Excited, Training, Help, Opinion, Referrals. So when reaching out or having a conversation with others your conversation can go something like this:


I'm EXCITED about this new endeavor/opportunity and so far what I've learned has had tremendous value and impact. I'm in my TRAINING phase and in the process of my certification and I could use your HELP with getting the butterflies out. I value your OPINION and I want to get your feedback about what I'm doing so you can send me some REFERRALS in the future! Could you help me out?

3-WAY TEXT MESSAGES

Text messages are a great way to generate activity and market your business. One effective strategy is the 3-way text message that you and your trainer can send out. It's a nonchalant way to get the ball rolling. You are welcome to copy and paste.

On this step, your goal is to watch, listen, and learn.

  • You'll be taught how to properly introduce and EDIFY your trainer.
  • Trainer will go over FORM to build rapport and customize the conversation.
  • Your trainer will go over our overview to create DISTURB and intrigue.
  • Depending on the individual(s) situation, one or more goals will take priority, i.e. more income, retirement, stability, insurance.


There are 3 ways to market your business.

  • One-on-One - It's you, your trainer and prospect.
  • Business/Company Overview - You invite prospects to one of the weekly held events.
  • Business Launch - You and your trainer host a private event to launch your business with a select group of people.


The overall outcome is to leave with a positive impression, build credibility, raise awareness for referrals and potentially add a new agent or client.
